More on Shelton Benjamin/WWE, Undertaker Health Update

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the dark match Shelton Benjamin worked prior to this week’s Smackdown taping was well received by both the live audience and WWE officials.

The feeling at this point is that it’s highly likely WWE will make Benjamin an offer to return to the company following WrestleMania 27. Benjamin himself noted on Twitter that he may or may not be returning to WWE.

PWTorch.com is reporting that The Undertaker is still rehabbing his rotator cuff after having surgery to repair the injury late last year. While WWE officials remain hopeful that ‘Taker has rehabbed enough that his match against Triple H at WrestleMania will not suffer, the feeling is that the injury was bad enough that it will confine his mobility in the long run.

Additionally, while there is speculation that The Undertaker may be retiring soon after WrestleMania, the feeling is that as long as he keeps himself in good enough shape and works a very reduced schedule, he could continue to appear at WrestleMania for several more years.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
