CM Punk vs John Cena
Punk and Cena face off in the middle of the ring then they start slugging it out until Cena hits a bulldog. Cena throws Punk in the corner and punches him in the ribs, then irish whips him across the ring into the opposite corner. Cena lines him up and throws more punches, and whips him off the ropes but Punk kicks him in the head and throws Cena out of the ring.
Punk has Cena in a headscissors then Cena fights out of it but Punk goes right back after him with knees to the back of the head. Punk reapplies the headscissors, but Cena once again reverses out of the hold and hits a shoulder block then sets up and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment but Punk slides out and gets a near fall. He hits a running knee in the corner and follows it with a bulldog, but Cena kicks out of the pin attempt and Punk teases the Go To Sleep. Punk gets him up and he throws him in the air but Cena holds his leg and counters into the STF.
Punk is able to reach the ropes to break the hold and both guys are slow to get up, and they double clothesline each other when they do. The ref starts counting and they both get up at 7, and Cena goes for the AA again, but Punk holds onto the rope and knees Cena in the head. Punk comes off the top rope with a flying clothesline but he can’t put Cena away and goes back to work. Cena counters at once again lifts him for the AA, but Punk counters and hits a STO AND rolls through and locks in the Anaconda Vice!
Cena tries to get out of it as Punk screams at him to quit, and Cena finally reaches the ropes. Punk kicks Cena in the face and knocks him out of the ring, then Punk dives over the top rope only to have Cena catch him and slam his back into the ringpost. Cena rolls Punk in and goes up top, but Punk cuts him off and tries for a superplex, but Cena headbutts him off the top. Cena waits then hits a legdrop off the top, and makes the cover but somehow Punk kicks out!
A new guy (FCW’s Mason Ryan) runs out and distracts Cena and Punk kicks Cena in the back of the head, then Punk leaves himself open for Ryan to clothesline him. The ref throws the match out and Nexus runs out to defend Punk, but he backs them off and gets in Ryan’s face. Ryan gets on his knee and Punk pulls a Nexus armband out of his kneepad, and puts it on him and they stand up and all raise their arms to a chorus of boos as RAW goes off the air.
