Cena has control when we get back, and hits a side slam, then both guys struggle to get up after they collide in the middle of the ring. Dolph is first and goes for a cover but gets a two count, and hits a dropkick, but Cena avoids the second one and starts his comeback. He hits the shoulder blocks, and sit out slam, the Five Knuckle Shuffle, and goes for the Attitude Adjustment. Dolph counters out and applies the sleeper, but Cena flips him off of his back and locks in the STF. Vickie gets on the apron as Dolph is tapping but the ref is paying attention to Vickie and doesn’t see it.
Dolph hits Zig Zag but somehow Cena kicks out, and Dolph starts taking the turnbuckle pad off then grabs the IC Title belt while the referee is turned around. He goes to swing at Cena with the belt, but Cena ducks him and hits the AA for the win. As Cena is celebrating, CM Punk leaves the broadcast table and gets in the ring, and nails Cena with a chair! Punk walks to the back as the crowd boos, and Cena is visibly raging pissed when he finally gets up.
(Holy crap so much was awesome about the past segment or two tonight. Vickie got so much heat tonight that I don’t think I have ever heard a crowd hate on her or anyone else that much. They really booed every time she tried to talk, and she and Cena tried so hard not to laugh but this reaction she got was unparalleled. Post match, Punk hitting Cena got him alot of heat, but obviously not as much Vickie. Punk has kinda been a tweener at the broadcast table, so this was a good way to get him back to the level of heat he had before he got injured.)
Josh Mathews catches up with Punk outside and asks him to explain, and Punk says the only thing Cena knows is aggression. He said Cena brutalized Wade Barrett with steel chairs last night, so all he did was give him a taste of his own medicine.
