According to The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter, the decision made to plug Mick Foley’s upcoming new book "Countdown to Lockdown" on WWE TV and on WWE.com was a call made directly made Vince McMahon. According to the report, Vince recently read a blog written by Foley where he was critical of the media attempting to make the U.S. Senate race in Connecticut involving Linda McMahon about pro wrestling. Vince was apparently a big fan of the blog, and therefore made the decision to throw a couple of plugs Mick’s way.
