TNA Impact Results (7/8) – Anderson/Hardy, RVD/Joe

Nash is sitting backstage talking about his history with Hogan, saying Hogan was messing around with the Dungeon of Doom before he and Scott Hall showed up in WCW. Hogan comes in and asks if he saw Bischoff, and says they aren’t straight yet. He tells Nash that he swerved them to get Hall and Syxx-Pac contracts, and Nash asks what about Hogan bringing in the Nasty Boys. Hogan says he did that straight up, and told people about it, but it didn’t work out so they are gone. He says The Band used up all their opportunities a long time ago and it is a different time now. He says they are still friends, and maybe Bischoff will feel differently about it, but they will talk about this later and Hogan leaves the room.

Jay Lethal is in the ring and says Hogan made his dream match against Flair, but he couldn’t enjoy it because of what Flair did to his brother. Lethal tells Flair that he is going to return the favor, and he will rip his heart out at Victory Road. Lethal says hello to his mother, and says he will make her very proud, and eventhough she is a thousand miles away, she is always that close in his heart. Flair comes out and says he could give a rat’s ass about Lethal’s mother and says to get out of his face so he can tell him how it is. Flair calls him a little punk and says Lethal doesn’t know who he is, and says Lethal doesn’t belong is his world. Flair says he is in Lethal’s head, and he is a god, and asks what Lethal can even do to him. He says Lethal will look him in the face in three days, and he will get his ass handed to him. He leaves Lethal in the ring and repeats the phrase "three days" as he goes to the back.
