Jeff Hardy vs AJ Styles vs Rob Van Dam
RVD and Hardy double team AJ and then Hardy works on AJ and RVD takes them both out. RVD hits suplexes on both and Hardy responds with a Stunner like jawbreaker. AJ goes on offense and hits a splash in the corner on Hardy then takes RVD’s knee out. AJ locks on the Figure Four but Hardy breaks it up and RVD hits the monkey flip out of the corner. Mr. Anderson comes to ringside and takes out Hardy, and RVD accidentally knocks out the ref while going after AJ. RVD tries to help Hardy on the outside and AJ hits a suicide dive to the outisde on all three of them. AJ continues the assault by snapping RVD down with a DDT, and then rolls him into the ring and uses the ropes for leverage to steal the win.
Winner – AJ Styles
After the match Hardy asks for a microphone while Anderson claps on the ramp at what just happened. He checks on RVD then tells him to get out of the ring and tells Anderson lets do this right now. Anderson says nah and tries walking away, but is stopped in his tracks when Hogan’s music hits. Anderson tries reasoning with Hogan but then takes a swing at him, but Hogan blocks it and punches out Anderson as we go to a commercial. Hardy continues the beatdown through the break and throws Anderson into the guardrail and then into the broadcast booth stage. Hardy sets him up on a table and hits a BIG TIME Swanton Bomb from the top of the commentary table, and Anderson is out as Hardy celebrates the carnage.
Tenay takes us to the exclusive footage brought to us by Lacey, and it shows Desmond Wolfe arguing with Chelsea in a bathroom. At first it looks like Wolfe is scaring Chelsea but then it is known what he is up to. They are setting up the assualt they are accusing Abyss of, and now it is known that Wolfe set up Abyss for something that never happened. Tenay says he would hate to be Wolfe come Sunday, because the Monster Abyss is going to be out for revenge at Sacrifice.
