NBCConnecticut.com is reporting that Linda McMahon has resigned as a member of The Connecticut Board of Education. McMahon had been a member since February of 2009, but due to her Senate campaign she has decided to resign. McMahon was quoted in the article as saying "Although the opinion does not preclude a board member from running for public office, it does disallow them from engaging in many of the activities that are necessary to be a successful candidate."
