Raw Ladder: Who Stepped Up & Stepped Down This Week?

UP A STEP: THE MIZ

No, beating Santino Marella is not what I consider a major step in a wrestler’s career.  However, the Miz finally has a purpose on Raw.  Additionally, I think that purpose is right where he should be.  And although others will feel like his program with John Cena was a complete waste, I feel completely different.  Realistically, The Miz should have never been working with John Cena in the first place, but the fact that he did made him at least relevant on the Raw brand.

Everyone expected the Miz to faded into obscurity when he separated from Morrison.  He’d be the Marty Jannetty in that duo.  Surprisingly, that didn’t happen.  His program with Cena gave him the heat that he was severly lacking immediately following the split from Morrison.  Now, he can work his way to a good program with Kingston who also needs a viable challenger to work with right now.

I think it’s best for the both of them and Kingston should probably be included on this list as well without doing a thing really.
