NUMBER TWO: It’s Freaking SummerSlam!
Very few pay per views have that "pay per view feel" anymore and although many could argue that SummerSlam has lacked that awe-inspiring emotion in recent years, I still get excited for the annual event. That being said, I would actually put it at number three behind the Rumble as most anticipated pay per view each year. 
SummerSlam in the past has brought us Undertaker vs Undertaker.
Shawn Michaels vs Hulk Hogan.
One of the greatest Intercontinental Championship matches of all time.
Oh…that would be Bret Hart vs Davey Boy Smith, by the way.
That same SummerSlam (1992) has also been argued to have the largest attendance in wrestling history at just over 80,000. WrestleMania 3 has been said to hold the record (Andre vs Hogan) at 93k, but I’m with those that think it was more like 77 or so.
I digress.
It’s the event of the summer and you simply watch it for that reason!
