Q: Do you think wrestling fans are now becming a little bit harder to please?

A: Oh ya for sure, because we’ve uh, wrestlers are typically the biggest fans of all, you know basically sacrificing everything to get into the business, so I mean I still consider myself a fan and you know just watching, what I’ve noticed is that wrestling is so much more fast paced than it was back in the day there’s so much more on TV every week, you got the 3 shows and you cant really devote, you know 3 months is a long time to devote towards a program in pro wrestling nowadays, which back in the days they’d go as long as half a year maybe longer. So I mean it is fast paced and the fans, they do demand more because they’ve seen so much within the last 10 years, you know they’ve given them every type of match they can give them. They’ve fallen off ladders, they’ve gone though tables, everything, so it takes a lot nowadays.

Q: Do you think in this day and age, can a longer, say 6 month feud work in this day and age or does the audience demand something different?

A: With certain guys you can do it. Shawn Michaels being as good as he is he can run an angle and have it dramatically heat up and have different kinds of scenarios go on for several months and ultimately where it peaked was when obviously Jericho hit his wife so I mean you know I think they had a lot of different peaks and they kept it probably interesting but I think wrestling is progression and as time goes on wrestling changes; the matches are shorter, the fans attention spans are shorter so I mean this is just, I mean it would be nice to think that the late 80s and early 90’s you could recreate a lot of those characters and a lot of those different elements from the golden era, but I mean its just not how things are anymore, like for instance there aren’t as many colorful gimmicks and all that stuff, I mean its just changed and its changed along with society.
