Abdullah The Butcher was the very first WWC Universal Heavyweight Champion winning the title in July 1982 following three reigns as the Puerto Rican Champion between 1978-81. His violent battles against Carlos Colón and Hercules Ayala. He heald the Universal Title as recently as 2004 when he defeated Carly (Carlito) Colón for his fifth time as champion at a youthful 68 years old.
