As has been reported Bryan Danielson appeared on the TV Tapings the NWA & Big Vision held November 14-16 In Los Angeles. Danielson flew himself to the tapings, and his involvement was in no way set-up through ROH, rather by Danielson himself. Initial plans had Danielson right in the middle of primary storylines but the decision was made not to rush him into that at the first taping and his spots were rebooked.
Former WWE writer Dave Lagana was involved in the tapings primarily helping with segment timing, and backstage coordination, rather than as a writer or booker. He volunteered to help out.
Eight episodes of NWA Championship Wrestling were taped. The show will start on the Colors Network on Dish likely the week before Christmas.
NWA & Big Vision are in discussions with Ric Flair & his representative about participating in NWA live events and television, but no contract has been signed. There is already some business completed between Flair & NWA. Flair appeared at a NWA show a while ago in Texas where he was inducted into the NWA Hall Of Fame. Footage of the induction and Flair’s speech will likely end up on the NWA TV Show. NWA & Flair are also selling a commemorative t-shirt at www.nwawrestling.com.
NWA has a House Show tonight, November 21, in Dawson Creek, BC with Kevin Nash, King V, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdock plus wrestlers from NWA ECCW like Scotty Mac.
