New matches for Velocity Pro at the ECW Arena 12/20

Velocity Pro Wrestling makes its triumphant return to the New Alhambra

arena (formally the fabled ECW Arena) on Saturday December 20, 2008

with an 7:30pm bell time on 7 W. Ritner Street, South Philadelphia, PA

19148. Velocity Pro Wrestling has been completely revamped, retooled,

and reloaded and will be bringing fans the absolute best wrestling

product that Philadelphia has to offer. The new VPW is going to have

lots of surprises for its re-debut that will put plenty of cheer in

every fan’s holiday season. Tickets, for what should be an incredible

night of top notch wrestling action, are now on sale at

velocityprowrestling.com and NewAlhambra.com.

The Velocity Pro Wrestling office has been buzzing lately as the

phones have been ringing off the hook since the announcement of our

Dec 20th show in South Philly at the New Alhambra arena. Our lovely

administrative assistant Kay Fabulous has been fielding calls from

representatives of Stevie Richards and Steve Corino today as both men

want to compete in what is quickly becoming the talk of the wrestling

world. These two seasoned ring veterans were told about the talent

that is scheduled on our debut show and were chomping at the bit to

join in what should be a historic night. When Stevie Richards found

out that Corino wanted to make his mark in the VPW squared circle,

Richards asked Velocity officials if Steve had an opponent booked yet.

Stevie expressed interest in wrestling Corino as the two have never

stepped foot inside the ring against each other and both men come from

the same extreme playground.

Steve Corino quickly accepted the challenge and told VPW officials to

be on the lookout for a video promo. Corino promised that this video

would spell out in specific detail why the Old School Hero has no

respect for Richards and what little he amounted to in the wrestling

business. Corino said that his venom-laced promo is just the beginning

of his Shock and Awe plan to use his disgust of Richards to destroy

him. “They say you have to burn a village to save it,” said Corino,

“but some villages aren’t worth saving and need to be burned to the

ground just on general principle. In South Philly, I will eradicate

Stevie Richards from the wrestling landscape.”

Velocity was unaware of any tension between the two men but we are

more than happy to allow these competitors to wage battle in the ring

for the very first time on Dec 20th at the former ECW arena.

Also added to the stacked December 20th event is Josh Daniels vs. John

Walters. The two names in this match alone will give you an idea of

what they plan on bringing to the table in Velocity Pro Wrestling.

John Walters will make his return to Philadelphia after a little

hiatus, and is looking to make big waves here in VPW. Walters told VPW

officials that he wanted a match that would test his boundaries, and

he has just that. Josh Daniels has been considered a younger version

of The Dynamite Kid and is all about pure wrestling ability. He is

looking to leave with a big first victory, and won’t take defeat

kindly. This match is going to be what professional wrestling is all

about, athletic ability with the best man earning himself a win!

Stay tuned to all the latest news and happenings in Velocity Pro

Wrestling at www.velocityprowrestling.com as we announce more talent

and matches that will be showcased on VPW’s new and explosive event.

Full event information and directions are also available at this time

at www.velocityprowrestling.com. Check us out again for the very first
