World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Super Crazy as of Nov. 5, 2008. WWE wishes Super Crazy the best in all future endeavors.
It’s being reported by The Wrestling Observer that Super Crazy, real name Francisco Islas, actually quit WWE last night at the Smackdown/ECW tapings. He asked for his release and it was granted today by management. Islas was said to have been very unhappy with his position in WWE and grew tired of promised pushes never being granted.
Islas’ request for a release was said to have been quite a shock to Senior Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis, as there had never been any talk of quitting in the past. Johnny Ace was said to have been disappointed with Islas and told him that there are many wrestlers who would love to have his job. No word yet on Islas’ future plans.
