Advertised: the first round of a heavyweight title tournament featuring Sal Rinauro, Colt Derringer, Rob Adonis, Vordell Walker, A.J. Steele, Lance Christian, Jason Cross, and Orion Bishop; Shaun Banks defends the RPW Cruiserweight Title against Dallas Riley; and Hot Like Lava compete with Dr. Johnny Gayton in a dead lift meet. Bell time is 4:00 PM.

Dustin Powers beat Frankie Valentine. Colt Derringer defeated Bulldog Raines with help from Rob Adonis and a cow bell. With Simon Sermon absent, Thomas Britain & Sir Charles Donovan successfully defended the PTPW Tag Team Titles against Hollywood Brunettes (Kyle Matthews & Andrew Alexander). Heavyweight Champion Chris Stevens retained the title by defeating Jake Slater (with J.P. Money). Post-match, Deathrow choke slammed Stevens. David Young tried to help Stevens, but was attacked by Evil, Inc. (Derringer & Adonis), on his way to the ring. Young was then the recipient of multiple choke slams by Deathrow, as was Stevens. The dressing room broke it up only after Bad Company had been brutally beaten by Deathrow and Slater.

PTPW returns to the Event Center in Columbus on October 17. The advertised card: Frankie Valentine vs. Dustin Powers, Southside Trash vs. Rob Adonis & Sal Rinauro, Bulldog Raines vs. Colt Derringer, Tag Team Title Match: Simon Sermon & Thomas Britain (with Sir Charles Donovan) defending against Elix Skipper & Ace Rockwell, and Bad Company (David Young & Chris Stevens) vs. Deathrow & Jake Slater (with J.P. Money). Bell time is 7:30 pm.

Alternative Pro Wrestling results for October 10 at the Royston (GA) Gym: Bo Newsome defeated Anthony Henry by DQ. Darkness defeated Brad Logan. Kareem Abdul Jamar beat Dustin Michaels and Brandon Parker in a three way dance. After the match, Mr. Duncan made it known that he wants KAJ to be the first new member of Duncan Enterprises, much to Parker’s dislike. Shadow Jackson & Chris King defeated Aaron Lee & Royston Brawler when Shadow pinned Lee. Seth Delay defeated Chrisifix. Chris King came to the ring for an interview and was once again attacked by Brawler and Lee, leaving King helpless. Dany Only & Strictnyn defeated APW Tag Team Champions the Franchise (Ryan Michaels & Matt Sells) in a non-title match. Jeremy Vain defeated Billy Buck by DQ. Vain attempted to blind Buck with Clorox (the same treatment Don Matthews received from Vain a few months back). However, Buck was ready and beat Vain upside the head with a gallon jug of Clorox. Due to the DQ win, Vain goes on to face Shadow Jackson for the Southern States Championship at Nightmare on Cherry Street on October 24.

This week on APW Aftershock…Chris King is subjected to a rude and ultimately violent interruption at the hands of Aaron Lee and Royston Brawler…Brawler & Lee look forward to an easy night at Nightmare on Cherry Street but APW Owner Jerico Stone has a different idea…Highlights of Stryknyn & Dany Only vs. The Franchise…Highlights of Kareem Abdul Jamar vs. Brandon Parker vs. Dustin Michaels…Mr. Kevin Duncan offers KAJ a spot in Duncan Enterprises much to Parker’s dismay…Highlights of Jeremy Vain vs. Billy Buck…Backstage, Seth Delay (the hands down star of the show) gives a rundown of Buck’s “off month.” Stone makes another match for Nightmare on Cherry Street.

Jody Hamilton’s Deep South Wrestling has announced some of the matches for their return show on October 25 in McDonough, GA. Advertised thus far: Bambi vs. Tracy Taylor and Thunder & Lightning vs. The Exotic Ones (Rick Michaels and Simon Sermon). Also scheduled to appear: Murder One, Scott Fantastic, Jeff Lewis, Adrian Hawkins, Nigel Sherrod, and Ted Guinness, with more to follow. The show will take place at the Liberty Village Shopping Center.
