WWE.com has an article concerning the father of ECW backstage announcer Lena Yada, who is currently suffering from sarcoidosis, an immune system disorder that manifests as a restrictive disease in the lungs.
This weekend’s edition of The Soup that airs on the E! channel pokes fun at Vince McMahon’s technical difficulties during last Monday’s Million Dollar contest segments. They aired clips of McMahon slowly dialing a phone number and added a laugh track to him being “Rickrolled” by the first contestant. Host Joel McHale then mocked Vince by talking in his trademark gargly voice by saying that maybe it would have gone better if they rehearsed the segment like they do with the matches. You can see a video clip of the segment at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YHOOMSHG2E.
In the funny wording department, WWE.com wrote the following: “After the colossal success of McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania, the WWE chairman is giving away another $1 million this week on Raw.” Wow, what a joke that is, huh?
On WWE.com there is a photo gallery of WWE’s recent tour of Australia. There is a photo of a fan holding a sign that says “I came to see Matt.” The caption for the picture reads “One of our fans shows her love for United States Champion Matt Striker.” There is also a photo of Batista posing with a “fan.” The “fan” is three-time World Welterweight Boxing Champion Jeff Fenech.
I hope you all had a good weekend and it’s back to work for the LIVE RAW tomorrow night. I also hope to see all of you on Tuesday night for my weekly radio show program, WrestleZone Radio.
