Chris Oliver sent this in: I was watching NASCAR RaceDay today and Ric Flair was on there with Kenny Wallace, Hermie Sadler and a lot of other NASCAR personalities, who was in Charlotte this weekend. Flair got a great reaction from the crowd.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that as of Friday, Vince McMahon read through the script for tonight’s Judgment Day PPV and wouldn’t finalize some of the finishes. Many of the finishes aren’t expected to be fully decided until later today.
The Friday before Backlash, Vince McMahon made the call to strip the Undertaker of the World Heavyweight Championship at the next week’s SmackDown taping. The reason for the change is that it is believed that Edge works better as a champion than a challenger and Taker as a champion only works when he has a great challenger. Taker defending against Edge isn’t much of a PPV money match and Undertaker vs. Batista has been done time and time again. A while ago, there was talk of Big Daddy V entering a big title feud with Taker, but that appears to be off the cards.
