In the new WWE Magazine Superstar Yearbook, there is an article claiming that Mickie James might be switching brands. Here is what it said, “Despite the lack of a Women’s Championship, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Mickie moved to SmackDown, where she can thoroughly dominate.”
This, on the other hand, would not be a smart move. I think Mickie needs to be consistently battling for the title, or at least be in programs with women who are foremost wrestlers and not “Divas.” Smackdown really has no women’s wrestling talent to speak of, so I say just leave her on Raw. Although the women’s division should float back and forth from show to show like it has been doing recently since there are really only about a dozen or so women on the active roster.
WWE just posted an article on their official website announcing that the upcoming Great American Bash pay-per-view sold out in this less than one hour this morning. The Great American Bash will take place from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York on July 20, 2008. WWE has noted that they will be releasing more tickets originally held for production purposes from now until the day of the show.
I am working on getting tickets for this event, since the Coliseum is in my backyard, so we will have live reports from the PPV if I can snag some good seats.
