Kevin Nash Speaks On Hall/Waltman’s Health, HBK, HHH

Kevin Nash recently talked about his relationship with his â<80>~Cliqueâ<80><99> friends Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Sean Waltman and Scott Hall to The Baltimore Sunâ<80><99>s Kevin Eck, who does a lot of great wrestling articles.

On Scott Hallâ<80><99>s condition after no-showing the TNA Turning Point PPV: â<80><9c>My relationship with Scott â<80>” wrestling is probably like one percent of what our relationship is. I knew that if Scott no-showed that he was in trouble. While everybody else was running around concerned that they couldnâ<80><99>t put the match together, I was concerned about my buddyâ<80><99>s well-being. I was very upset about it, but Scottâ<80><99>s Scott. Heâ<80><99>s dealing with those issues now and heâ<80><99>s doing better.â<80>

On getting help for Sean Waltman and checking him in to rehab: â<80><9c>Yeah. I mean, weâ<80><99>re like brothers, all of us. I think itâ<80><99>s just that weâ<80><99>ve spent so much time together that when one of us shows up at the door, itâ<80><99>s kind of like, â<80><9c>Oh God, my big brotherâ<80><99>s here.â<80> And Iâ<80><99>m not going to come do it unless youâ<80><99>re screwing up. And if youâ<80><99>re screwing up, itâ<80><99>s like, â<80><9c>OK, youâ<80><99>ve got to take care of this.â<80> The three of us have a really good relationship, as I do with Shawn [Michaels] and Paul [Levesque, aka Triple H]. [Hall and Waltman] have just had a bad year (laughs). But I think in the long run this will probably be the most productive year both have had in a long time.â<80>

On confronting Shawn Michaels several years ago telling him he needed to straighten up, and trying to keep his friends safe on the road: â<80><9c>I donâ<80><99>t know. I mean, when we all went out, I drove. I was kind of the dad. I drove most of the miles. They used to say, even when we were pretty screwed up, â<80><9c>Youâ<80><99>re the heaviest â<80>” you drive! Youâ<80><99>ve got more body weight.â<80> For three years, we spent 300 days a year together, in an environment that wasnâ<80><99>t really advantageous to proper living. I look back and I just say, â<80><9c>Of all the guys who have passed, itâ<80><99>s a miracle that the four of us made it through that.â<80> But I think itâ<80><99>s because we did watch out for each other, and we always pulled back the reins and kept an eye on each other, and would say, â<80><9c>Dude, youâ<80><99>re out of control.â<80> I think thatâ<80><99>s why weâ<80><99>re all still here.â<80>

Big Kev, who is wrestling in the Lethal Lockdown match at this Sundayâ<80><99>s TNA Lockdown PPV, also speaks on his in-ring work and future. You can check out the full Baltimore Sun article at this link.
