Ryan Clark back with yet another update from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York – the host of tonight’s live WWE RAW show.
I’m told Maria got lost on the way to the arena and needed to call John Laurenitus to find out the directions.
Batista is backstage and there is talk of doing a HBK-Batista program. This could start tonight.
John Cena is NOT at the show but IS expected to be there. According to a source, Cena is flying in from New Orleans and will be running late. WWE is aware of the situation.
Jim Ross and Jerr Lawler, who are normally fairly early arrivals to RAW arenas, were both not there as of the late afternoon hours. Jonathan Coachman is there and was one of the very first to arrive.
The dress code backstage here at the show is VERY laid back for some guys, with many wearing jeans. Some are decked out but mainly management.
Robbie McCallister is not here and is not expected. Rory is backstage.
