In case you missed it, Drew McIntyre was shown in the first match graphic on last week’s Raw promoting the Cena & Orton vs. “The Entire Raw Roster” match. However, during the second airing of the graphic, McIntyre’s image was removed. After moving to the Raw roster about three months ago, McIntyre has worked a total of one television match, which took place on the first WWE Heat of the year. Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels and Mr. Kennedy were also shown on the graphic, but didn’t participate in the match. Jericho was selling Big Show’s punch from earlier in the note, and HBK and Kennedy’s non-appearances were never explained.
Universal Studios Florida sent out a press release earlier today regarding WWE’s Fan Axxess Tour this Friday and Saturday. Nearby, TNA will be holding iMPACT! tapings on both days as well.
Terry Funk’s name has been discussed for doing the induction of Jack and Gerald Brisco into the WWE Hall of Fame, although it looks like a long shot. So far we have The Rock for Rocky Johnson & Peter Maivia, Triple H for Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes for Eddie Graham (with Mike Graham accepting), and Jim Ross for Gordon Solie. For Mae Young, the inductee(s) will likely be female as Stephanie McMahon or a group of babyface WWE Divas will be doing the honors. For the one hour coverage of the HOF on the USA Network this week, Flair, Johnson & Maivia’s inductions will be televised. The rest of the ceremony will be available to see via webcast on WWE.com and later on the WrestleMania 24 DVD release.
