More On WWE Kids, Big Show’s Weight, RAW Notes, & More News

Triple H and Shawn Michaels continue to wield more backstage power than any other wrestlers in WWE. While longtime roster members The Undertaker and JBL have Vince’s ear, they do not get involved in the creative process like Hunter and Michaels do. While there is some subtle negativity towards Hunter’s position as the boss’ son, the feeling is that he does have a geniune interest in doing what’s best for the company. Hunter is said to be responsible for toning down the “campy toilet humor” that Vince is such a big fan of.

To follow up on the story that WWE is creating an online cartoon series for children, the company has launched WWEKids.com with a “Coming Soon” message.

Big Show’s weight loss is being attributed to boxing trainer and nutritionist Artie Artwell from Miami, Florida reports Dave Meltzer. Show and Artwell were introduced through Hulk Hogan who was trying to help him begin a career as a professional boxer last March. Since his last run in WWE, Big Show has lost over 100 pounds and has not smoked a cigarette for a year.

As we noted earlier this week, it is believed that WWE is paying Raw announcer Mike Adamle $300,000 a year.

WWE Films is working on a cartoon series that will be shown on the Internet and target children ages 6-8 years old.

Highlights of Vince McMahon getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is up at WWE.com.
