Head SmackDown creative writer Michael Hayes and Pat Patterson met on January 2nd to book the entire 30 Man Royal Rumble match reports Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
They were able to come up with a list of the 30 superstars for the match, an order of eliminations, and all of the high spots.
Hayes met with Vince McMahon the next day and got the OK for most of it. WWE creative is in the process of getting approval from all of the key talent in the match as to what will happen.
