Fox News Live with Jamie Colby covered the WWE suspensions story earlier today. They reported on the suspensions of Chris Masters and Harry “D.H.” Smith. They even showed a graphic of the two guilty parties. They covered the WWE suspensions story from two months ago as well, but this is the first time in which they reported actual names.
The fast national rating for last night’s edition of Smackdown is out and the show did a 2.8 rating. That number is a bit up from recent weeks. The final number will be out early next week.
A number of tickets for WrestleMania 24 are still available. All of the better seats have been taken, but you can still get a decent seat. There are plenty of seats in the 90 dollar range still available.
The New York Post has an article today talking about John Bradshaw Layfield’s wife, financial analyst Meredith Whitney, who works for CIBC World Market, a subsidiary of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. On Friday, Whitney downgraded Citigroup’s stock that caused major problems at the U.S. stock market with $369 billion vanishing in one day. Apparently she has been receiving death threats as well as hate-filled phone calls and e-mails from investors. She described the typical rant as: “F – – – you, dumb analyst. I hope you get hit by a truck,” but added, “The abusive phone calls, thankfully, have gone straight to voice mail.” JBL was headed to Texas for the weekend but decided to cancel his trip to be there for his wife. He told The Post, “I just don’t want her to be alone this weekend. She tried to talk me into going, but if someone accosted her on the sidewalk or something, I don’t know what I would do.”
