WWE.com has officially announced the main event for Cyber Sunday, and all talk of stipulations have apparently been thrown out.
The main event is now scheduled as WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. the fan’s choice of Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy or Mr. Kennedy.
Originally, the main event was to be John Cena vs. Randy Orton with fans deciding between a Hell In A Cell match, a No DQ match or a Falls Count Anywhere match. When Cena was injured, it was discussed that Triple H would slide into Cena’s spot. Now, WWE has gone in a completely different direction for the main event. It will be interesting to see if the stipulations (which have been used in advertising for the show) are applied to another bout on the card, or if they are completely forgotten.
