All the wrestlers that were suspended flew out to Stamford for a meeting with Vince McMahon. As of press time, there are 11 wrestlers who were suspended and there is no indication that any more suspensions will be coming. The 11th suspension was a wrestler who, somehow, missed his flight, which put further heat on him in the office. At this point, the only firing has been Mike “Simon Dean” Bucci and the identity of the wrestler who has been suspended for 60 days should be revealed soon.
In somewhat related news, the NFL has announced they are suspending New England Patriot Edward Harrison for four games and Dallas Cowboys QB coach Wade Wilson for five games for being linked to the Signature Pharmacy deal. More NFL names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Randy Orton and Batista arenât suspended.
WWE talent will no longer be speaking with the media nor will they be making appearances for the next several weeks. This is exactly what they did when the Benoit family tragedy took place last June. Talent will still honor some of their scheduled appearances but those that are expected to be on radio shows or talking with newspapers will be pulled.
