Major Triple H Return News, ECW, Lots More

WWE has changed the ECW on Sci Fi opening video and theme music. Their original theme â<80><9c>Bodiesâ<80> by Drowning Pool was replaced by â<80><9c>This Is The New Sh*tâ<80> by Marilyn Manson. The song is off his album The Golden Age of Grotesque. Apparently WWE pulled the â<80><9c>Bodiesâ<80> theme in light of the Benoit tragedy as they played the song â<80><9c>Famousâ<80> by Puddle of Mudd on the June 26th edition of ECW.

As we reported yesterday, WWE has released SmackDown referee Chris Kay. The release was done quietly a few weeks back.

If anyone caught The Oâ<80><99>Reilly Factor last night on FOX News they saw that the network pulled a very blatant â<80><9c>bait and switchâ<80> tactic. They aired an old 2002 interview between Linda McMahon and Bill Oâ<80><99>Reilly, briefly mentioning the Benoit tragedy at the end of the segment.

ECW talent C.M. Punk will make appearances on FUSE TV for the Vans Warped tour. As we have been reporting, WWE has agreed to let several superstars make appearances at different stops on the tour. Ashley Massaro has worked with FUSE in the past.

Triple H had planned to wrestle Randy Orton at SummerSlam but those plans have been changed. Triple H will not be wrestling John Cena at SummerSlam either and they will be kept far apart until another date. Current plans call for Triple H to return to TV on the 8/13 Raw at Madison Square Garden.
