Benoit Update: Amazon, Vince, Nancy, & More

In one of the most despicable acts since the Benoit tragedy started, when you search Amazon.com for â<80><9c>WWEâ<80>, at the top of their website it says: â<80><9c>Tragic news from the WWE. Wrestler Chris Benoit and his wife and son have been found dead in their Georgia home, and police are investigating the situation as a possible murder-suicide.â<80> The caption is accompanied by a photo and a link to purchase the WWE Chris Benoit: Hard Knocks DVD.

Here is Vince McMahonâ<80><99>s statement from the beginning of last nightâ<80><99>s ECW on Sci Fi in its entirety: “Last night on Monday Night Raw, the WWE presented a special tribute show, recognizing the career of Chris Benoit. However, now some 26 hours later, the facts of this horrific tragedy are now apparent. Therefore, other than my comments, there will be no mention of Mr. Benoit tonight. On the contrary, tonight’s show will be dedicated to everyone who has been affected by this terrible incident. This evening marks the first step of the healing process. Tonight, the WWE performers will do what they do better than anyone else in the world â<80>¢ entertain you.”

Sky Sports will be replacing their replays of Monday nightâ<80><99>s RAW with a two hour â<80><9c>RAW – Greatest Championshipsâ<80> show, which will also air in Mainland Europe, Australia and Japan.

TMZ.com has posted the court documents filed by Nancy Benoit for a request for a restraining order against Chris Benoit as well as custody of their son Daniel. The requests were filed back in 2003.
