As an update to a story posted earlier here on the site, WWE SmackDown superstar Gregory Helms did indeed suffer a broken neck and will be undergoing neck fusion surgery this coming Monday.
This is the same surgery that Kurt Angle underwent a several years ago. Dr. Lloyd Youngblood will be conducting the surgery. Helms is scheduled to be out of action for at least a year. We certainly wish him a speedy recovery.
