The live gate for the show was $5,380,000.
The decision to have Donald Trump clothesline Vince McMahon during the Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga battle of the billionaires match was made the day of the event. Steve Austin’s stunner on Trump was also made on Wrestlemania Sunday. As noted earlier, McMahon pitched the idea to Trump to do a follow up leading into the Backlash PPV, but it was turned down.
The 5/6 autograph signing at the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center in Edison, NJ will feature Hogan, Bruno Sammartino, and The Ultimate Warrior. Hogan will be charging anywhere between $150 to $250 for autographs. Warrior will be asking $45 for autographs and $75 for photos. Sammarinto will sign autographs for free, as he doesn’t believe in charging fans for autographs.
