WWE agreed that the 3/10 episode would air at 11:30PM ET, rather than in prime time. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a factor leading to the March edition being dropped was that the network had difficulty selling advertising time for the program. Thatâs not hard to figure with the previous two Saturday Night’s Main Event primetime specials drawing embarrassingly low ratings. NBC and WWE are under contract for two more SNME specials.
The idea of an ECW authority figure was recently suggested, and believe it or not, Paul Heyman’s name was mentioned by Dusty Rhodes, but it wasn’t even considered by Vince McMahon. The suggestion had also been made to send Heyman back to OVW, but that was also turned down.
The reason ring announcer Lilian Garcia missed the 2/19 episode of Raw was due to a tripping accident at the previous night’s No Way Out PPV.
