— WWE has reached a deal with OVW star Russell Simpson. Simpson has currently been training with the developmental territory and at one time wrestled for Hustle in Japan.
— With Paul Heyman now gone from ECW, the future of his security guards Doug Bashman & Derrick Neikrik remains uncertain. A possible Basham brother reunion is possible, but Danny is current out of action with a torn biceps.
— Vince McMahon is very against the idea of keeping the Hardy Boyz together as a tag team. He has also been made the decision to keep MNM separate.
