TNA’s New Announcer, Borash Gone?, Buyrates Revealed

While any numbers are early at this point, the Bound For Glory PPV last month is estimated as doing around 50,000 buys and could go on to becoming TNA’s most purchased monthly PPV event to date. Final Resolution back in January of this year (featuring Sting’s return to TNA) drew around 55,000 buys and has been the highest ever since.

Jeremy Borash was recently removed from doing backstage interviews on TNA broadcasts. Apparently, there was a problem with his “look” and some people didn’t like his style. Also, the feeling was that they needed a pretty girl to do the interviews. A woman who works for Spike TV named Letitia will be doing the backstage interviews from now on. She should be appearing soon on television, perhaps as early as tomorrow’s Impact show. If not tomorrow night, then she should be appearing on the 12/7 show because there was a segment in which she interviews Eric Young – who tells her he is attempting to lose some weight. Regarding her interviewing skills, she was described as “being as bad as Rebecca DiPietro,” the ECW backstage interview girl. Furthermore, Letitia was said to be nervous, not to mention having little clue on how to do her job.
