TNA WRESTLING NEWS UPDATE

Some more brief TNA news tidbits to report on as we head into the weekend…

– “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles will be making a special appearance for an autograph signing on March 11 at the “FYE” location on Orange Blossom in Orlando, Florida. FYE is one of the largest retailers of DVDs, music and books, with locations throughout the United States. The TNA star will be signing copies of his DVD “Phenomenal: The Best of AJ Styles”. All fans in the Orlando area are invited to show up to meet Styles!

– TNA producers spent Wednesday and Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee filming Ron “The Truth” Killings for a series of videos on the TNA star set to air in the near future on “iMPACT!”. Cameras were also on hand to film The Truth in the recording studio putting down the final version of his upcoming new entrance music “What’s Up?”.

– Several new TNA t-shirts are set to go on sale on ShopTNA.com in the upcoming weeks, including shirts for Team 3D, Christian Cage, The James Gang and Samoa Joe. For fans of the “Samoan Submission Machine”, his will feature the tagline “Joe’s Gonna Kill You!” on the back of the shirt.

– Speaking of Joe, as many fans have read on the internet the X Champion is suffering from a staph infection in his arm. “The Samoan Submission Machine” will attend the “iMPACT!” tapings this Tuesday in Orlando, although TNA management is still awaiting an update on whether he’ll be able to compete.

– By all indications, January is turning out to be the most successful month for TNA Wrestling ever. The TNAwrestling.com website has already had a record number of visitors, while “iMPACT!” scored its highest rating yet last week, ranking number two in its timeslot for all cable programming in the all-important male demographic. In addition, early indications are that the “Final Resolution” PPV event featuring the return of Sting was by far the most-purchased TNA Pay-Per-View event in company history, breaking all previous numbers. TNA would like to thank you, THE FANS, for making all this happen!

– According to TNA management, tickets are moving extremely well for the TNA event in Detroit on March 17. Seating is still available, so if you’re a fan in the Detroit area and plan on attending, act quickly! Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the Compuware Arena box office.
