There are conflicting reports as to whether or not Chris Candido underwent surgery today. Nonetheless, he is getting screws inside his ankle. One doctor apparently told him he could be back within six weeks. He did want to be a part of the Hardcore Homecoming show in Philadelphia, PA but we’ll have to wait and see.
To add more to Dixie Carter’s speech yesterday, she told the wrestlers not to worry about any “doom and gloom” internet reports that Panda Energy was growing frustrated with the promotion. She informed the guys that everyone was happy and that they were still being backed fully by Panda and will continue to be for quite some time. She also noted that TNA PPVs could be seen in over 50 countries and was very high in the promotion growing.
