Hulk Hogan’s Big Issues With Neighbors; Cops Called

From celebrityjustice:

Hulk Hogan’s Animals Annoy Neighbors

March 1, 2005

Hulk Hogan is possibly the most famous wrestler ever, but lately, the Hulk’s been wrestling with his Florida neighbors over his extensive menagerie of farm animals.

Hulk lives in an ultra-exclusive enclave in Belleair with his wife Linda and his beautiful daughter, 17-year-old singer Brooke Hogan.

Hulk’s neighborhood has its own private marina and homes that cost north of $10 million. But neighbors complain that Hulk keeps “dogs, rabbits, ferrets, chickens and roosters” that cause “loud and frequent noise and an unsanitary stench.”

Wrestling superstar Hogan and his daughter, Brooke, are both animal lovers, and according to documents obtained by “CJ,” Hogan obtained a permit to keep a rooster for his little girl in 1999. But the critters multiplied.

Last May, the town’s chief of police, responding to complaints, went to the property and observed “five chickens, one rooster, six dogs, one cat, bird cages and a ferret.” The chief claims he tried to get Hulk’s family to clean up their animal act, but when he returned in August, he heard a rooster crowing and saw three dogs.

In September, the chief came back and spotted seven barking dogs and a white chicken crowing. In November, the head of the homeowner’s association complained to town officials that the Hulk household was such a nuisance, neighbors had to move their bedroom to the opposite side of their house.

As if Hulk’s neighbors aren’t steamed enough, now he’s shooting a reality TV show on the property. Just last week cameras followed Hulk’s family to a town meeting about their pets. Hulk was given until next week to comply with local laws, but Hulk’s wife, Linda Bollea, reportedly used a “choice expletive” to describe officials.
