– ‘Rob Van Dam’s “One Of A Kind” debuted at the top of the chart in Billboard’s Top 10 Recreational Sports videos this week. The WWE had three other releases in the Top 10: “The Rise and Fall Of ECW” is in fourth, Andre The Giant in fifth and “Best Of Intercontinental Championship” is in eighth place.’

– The WWE released financial results this morning for its third fiscal quarter ended January 28, 2005. Positive news for the most part with profits rising from from $79.1 million to $82.7 million for the same quarter last year. The results included a gain of $1.3 million from assigning the lease for its former New York entertainment complex. The bad news is that live attendance, ticket sales, and TV advertising revenue is down again slightly. Merchandise sales remain strong helped on by home video releases.

– Frankie Kazarian, who worked a WWE dark match Tuesday night before the Smackdown taping in Philadelphia, replaces Mike Mizanin going against Daniel Puder at tonight’s UPW show in Santa Ana, CA.
