Major TNA News: Kazarian-WWE, Impact!/Primetime Slot?; & More

There are ongoing talks within TNA about running prime time specials on FOX Sports Net. If a deal can be reached, the shows would be used as a ‘ratings watcher’ of sorts. If ratings were solid, FOX would likely think about giving the promotion a primetime weekly slot for Impact!. It’s just talk right now and there are currently no specials planned.

Former Vice President of Marketing Walt Wilson was actually let go by TNA and did not leave the company on his own as we first reported yesterday. Several within TNA claim the reason for his release was that he just simply wasn’t able to keep up with the amount of work given to him. Wilson sent out an email to those whom he talked to and referred all TNA inquires over to Frank Ramano in the New York City TNA office.

Jerry Jarrett is now handling most of the contractual issues backstage with help from Bob Ryder. Ryder has taken over a new role in TNA dealing with travel and office work.

Multiple sources are now telling us that Frankie Kazarian is indeed headed to WWE’s developmental system. WWE contacted several cruiserweights a few weeks back about coming in. Kazarian is likely one of the guys who WWE was in contact with.

Michael Shane will be remaining in TNA.
