Impact Wrestling Results (10/6) – Storm vs Roode, Hulk Hogan’s Major Announcement

Beer Money comes out to the ring together and James Storm says he heard about Hulk's retirement, and he thinks it's about time that he took a backseat to the young guys who bust their asses. Storm says he hopes Hulk has fun trying to follow his match with Roode because they will tear the building down. Roode says welcome home to Storm and says he was taken back by Kurt Angle making Fortune fight each other, because they are family. The matches over the past weeks are exactly what he needed, and he can prove to everyone that he is ready for Kurt, and tonight he needs the best out of him. Storm says he is going to bring everything he has because he has a little more to prove, and he just might be a little better than Roode tonight.

Gunner vs Kazarian

Gunner backs Kaz into the corner and applies an armbar, but Kaz reverses it and hiptosses him then clotheslines him out of the ring. Kaz leaps out to the apron but Gunner catches his foot and slams him face first on the apron, then starts working on Kaz's left shoulder. Kaz fights back but Gunner drops him with a shoulder breaker and follows it with a kneedrop. Gunner misses a axehandle smash and Kaz hits a springboard elbow and a legdrop, but Kaz gets thrown shoulder first into the ringpost after a reversal. Gunner puts him in an arm submission and gets Kaz to tap, but he doesn't let go and the referee reverses the decision. Gunner leaves after referees check on Kaz and he screams to the fans that he broke his arm.

Winner (by reverse decision) – Kazarian

Mr. Anderson comes out and says he is there to do something he is not known for doing. He is going to apologize to his assholes for turning his back on them in a moment of weakness. Anderson says he is not an ass kisser and he has had to claw and fight for everything he has, and he was weak and joined Immortal. He doesn't regret it because he learned from it, then calls Bully Ray a giant douchebag, which brings Bully Ray out to the arena. Ray tells Anderson he wants to make this quick and Anderson says he always got the upperhand on him and Ray says he embarrased him. Ray tells him he is not getting another match, but Anderson says Bound For Glory is in Philadelphia and it is where he got his start. He asks for a Falls Count Anywhere match and says Ray should have an easy decision in accepting it, then drops the mic and leaves Ray standing in the ring.
