Eric Young is in the back talking about finding ODB because love is in the air and they will make it work tonight. The camera guy says they are out of the tournament, but EY thinks it is double elimination and runs off to find ODB. Elsewhere, Magnus and Joe are talking about the tag finals tonight and Magnus tells him winning means no one will overlook either one of them anymore. He says let's go do this and starts walking, then Joe grabs his arm and shakes his hand and they leave together while AJ Styles and Kaz are being interviewed in the locker room. AJ says they will win tonight because they will use their speed to their advantage. They both say they have tagged before and they know they can trust each other so they will win the title shot.
Garret Bischoff is shown getting dressed when Sting comes in and asks if he is ready to come back, and Garret tells him he was cleared to come back. He says he loves being here and respects his job and all of the guys he gets to be in the ring with, and he won't let people like his dad or Immortal stand in his way. Sting asks why he has a referee's shirt on and he says he is going to ref the next match, but Sting tells him he isn't and asks him to take the shirt off. Garret hands it to him and looks disappointed, but Sting hands him a pair of boots and tells him that he is not a ref because he is a wrestler, and welcomes him to the roster and leaves.
Gunner vs RVD
Gunner whips RVD off the ropes but RVD ducks and hops over the top rope and avoids a shoulder block, then taunts Gunner from the floor as we go to a break. When we return, Gunner hits an elbow off the ropes for two, then stomps RVD and throws him face first into the turnbuckle. He whips RVD across the ring but RVD gets a boot up then hits a thrust kick off the top rope and gets a two count, but Gunner comes right back with a clothesline. Gunner chokes him on the ropes and gets him up in a fireman's carry, but RVD slides out and connects with a stepover kick and follows it with a spin kick and a clothesline before hitting a standing moonsault for two.
