WWE House Show Results (7/7) – El Paso, Texas

CM PunkA good crowd here in El Paso. It appeared to be 90 percent full. The pre event music and video boards seem to distract from any chants being started.

1. Sin Cara defeated Hunico. Huinco walked to the ring and told Sin Cara this is his hood since he's from across the border. There were a couple of chants for both superstars. Overall, a good match with Huinco having most the offense before Sin Cara got the win.

2. Vickie Guerrero defeated Kaitlyn with A.J. as special referee. Vickie came out and said she's queen diva. Slow match. Vickie won with roll up. There was a little shoving and a cat fight that happened after match between A.J. and Vickie. Vickie got booed on the way out.

3. Ryback defeated Drew McIntyre. I was excited to see Drew, but it made me sad seeing him face Ryback, because I knew who was winning. I wish Drew would get a better push. Drew got some good offense, but your winner was Ryback.

4. Christian defeated Cody Rhodes to retain the Intercontinental Title. There was some back and forth action. Cody tried to leave with the belt at one point. Christian chased him to bring him back. Cody won with his feet on the ropes. Teddy Long came out, said he was the general manager for the night, and restarted the match. Christian won with the frog splash after restart.

5. Sheamus defeated Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Hvt. Championship. Del Rio cut a promo to upset the crowd, which cheered Shamus instead of him since he's the Mexican. Nice good long match. Both got in some good spots before Sheamus won with a Brogue Kick.

6. The Great Khali defeated Jinder Mahal. Decent match. A lot of big hits.

7. Kane defeated Chris Jericho. Good match. Kane won with the chokeslam.

The crowd was able to choose between best of three falls or a street fight for the main event.

8. C.M. Punk defeated Daniel Bryan in a Street Fight to retain the WWE Championship. A great match just as you'd expect from these two. Lot of kicks. Good use of kendo sticks and steel chairs. A.J. did her skip around the ring bit, getting Daniel Bryan's attention. Punk hit the GTS for the win. Punk celebrated and did a little Eddie Guerrero shimmy.

Overall, a good show. A lot of fun. People went home happy. No return date was given.
