Mt. Killamanjaro: 2012 TNA Turning Point Review – TNA Should Learn from Jeff Hardy; Take Risks!

(5) TNA World Tag Team Championship Match

Chris DanielsResults: Back and forth action between both teams for the entire match, with the heels keeping Chavo isolated in their corner and Hernandez doing all the heavy lifting. The former champs were able to hit a Hi-Lo combo on Chavo Guerrero, but “Supermex” threw Kazarian from the ring with a big Military Press. Chris Daniels looked to put away Chavo with a top rope maneuver, but Hernandez got him up in the Electric Chair position, followed by a big top rope crossbody from Guerrero for the win at 11:57.

Review: Certainly one of the better matches on tonight’s card, but the tag team division has taken a hit without the temporary team of AJ Styles and Kurt Angle. Pretty standard heel work from Kazarian and Daniels, keeping the smaller man down in their corner of the ring, but they do “standard” so much better than anybody else in the business today. Chavo and Hernandez continue to improve, and have a good dynamic going as a tag team. It’s refreshing to have somebody new holding on to the belts, but with only two tag teams in the company, TNA is going to need to do something quick. This match was good, but not good enough to see two or three times on pay-per-view.
