NFL Player Receives WWE Title Belt, CM Punk Absent From House Show Line-Ups

CM Punk Absent From House Show Line-Ups

CM Punk was not at last night's WWE house show event in NYC, as he is currently recovering from knee surgery and has been pulled from WWE's live events during the holiday season. No word on when Punk is expected back on the house show line-ups, but he will not be missing any TV time.

NFL Player Receives WWE Title Belt

Washington Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan was awarded a WWE championship belt and dubbed the 4th & Pain champion for his week 16 performance against the Philadelphia Eagles.

He joined his teammate Adam Carriker and Chuck Carroll on the only pro wrestling show hosted by an NFL player and a former wrestling announcer turned weight loss champion.

Kerrigan says if he gets a sack against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night he'll celebrate by doing John Cena's 'You Can't See Me.'

He doesn't think the Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania will ever end.  However, the idea of a John Cena vs. Undertaker match sounds intriguing.  Perhaps that may be the way to pass the torch…

When asked who the Redskins would be if they were a pro wrestler, he said they'd be Edge…ultimate opportunists.

4th & Pain airs each weekday at noon eastern on www.4thAndPain.com and Sunday mornings at 8 on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, D.C.
