Legendary WWE personality, Paul Bearer, recently did an exclusive interview with PWTorch, during which he talked in-depth on his friendship with the Undertaker, and his status for this year's WrestleMania.
Triple H accepted a Slammy Award in late 2012 for his Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker, and claimed that the WWE Universe had not seen the last of the Dead Man. However, Paul Bearer is not convinced that guarantees anything:
"I took that completely differently than how the fans took it. My favorite wrestler for the past 20 years has been off for a year, and he deserves time off. My God, that man has carried that company on his back for years… I just don't 100 percent agree with the fact that Hunter stated that Undertaker is returning at WrestleMania 29. Because he didn't say that."
Bearer also claimed there isn't "any reason in hell" that the Undertaker should put his 20-year WrestleMania streak back on the line, "after what he has done for this company".
The latest reports coming from the Wrestling Observer are that the Undertaker is likely to face former WWE Champion CM Punk in April, at MetLife Stadium. At this time, he is still scheduled to make an appearance at the WrestleMania VIP Axxess events on April 5th, alongside John Cena.
