4/25 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – The Icon Returns, Hogan Confronts Bully Ray & Matt Morgan Wants a Shot at the World Title

Matt Morgan is backstage, and says that if Hulk Hogan goes out to the ring tonight and confronts the Aces & Eights, it'll be the biggest mistake he's made up to this point. He says he's about to go out to the ring and tell the world his solution to the problem, and Hogan is invited.

After a commercial break and video package, Matt Morgan makes his way to the ring. He talks about Hulk Hogan making Bully Ray the #1 contender to the World Title, leading to the implosion of Impact Wrestling. Then there's Sting, who got kicked out of Impact by Hogan, and hasn't been seen in weeks. And then Jeff Hardy, who got the hell beat out of him for all his trouble.

The Hulkster makes his way down to the ring, to a big ovation from the live crowd. Morgan says the real reason he called out Hogan tonight is that he's out of backup, and has no more horses in the race. He says the Aces & Eights will eat him up, and spit him out. So with that being said, he presents himself as the ultimate solution to the problem. He calls himself TNA's seven-foot knight in shining armor, and will Carbon Footprint the Bully's head into the first row…for a small price. Morgan demands to be named the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary.

Hulk Hogan says that Matt Morgan probably could get the job done, but at the end of the day he was hoping the big man would do the right thing. He talks about Morgan stealing his robe, and all the verbal abuse. Hogan says he was hoping Morgan would be the second coming of Mania, but he's got to do it for the right reasons; not for a price. He says he won't hand over anything to Matt Morgan, and says Andre the Giant never came out to the ring and whined like a little bitch.
