WWE Superstar Kane will begin filming for See No Evil 2 on September 23rd in Vancouver, British Columbia. The sequel to WWE Films' first ever theatrical release will be straight-to-DVD, scheduled for a tentative release in early 2014.
We recently reported that there was a plan to bring Kane back to WWE television as early as October, to continue his feud with Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family, leading to a second match at WWE's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. This would give Kane less than five weeks to completely film the movie, and that's with little to no presence on TV leading up to the match. It is also possible that he could fly back and forth between the set and WWE's touring locations, however in the past it has not been the company's policy to have their stars work double duty while filming projects.
Speaking of WWE Films, The Marine 3: Homefront starring WWE Superstar The Miz has brought in some decent money for the company, selling 169,211 copies since its release in March 2013. It has out-sold 12 Rounds: Reloaded by three times; the film starring, WWE Champion Randy Orton, has only sold 51,727 copies since its release in June 2013.
