TMZ Picks Up on Scott Hall & Jake Roberts Crowd-Sourcing Money; Are They Scamming the Fans?

Scott HallTMZ has a new post up on wrestling legends Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) and Jake "The Snake" Roberts, who have both used crowd-sourcing to raise money for nagging medical issues, including successful surgery. For donating, fans were told they would receive "perks" like t-shirts, autographs and actual phone/Skype calls from the two former WWF stars. However, due to the extreme outpouring of support both Scott and Jake have received in the past year, they have been unable to keep up with the demand.

"There was never any intention to let any supporters down … so if anyone out there is still waiting on their perk please just contact us and we will handle it ASAP! But for the record no one is getting ripped off."

Jake came out and said that everyone who donated to helping them will definitely receive their rewards eventually. He received almost $30,000 from supporters, out of a $9,200 goal earlier in 2013. Almost 700 people donated to that cause alone. Factor in the $100,000 Scott Hall raised, with over 300 video and Skype calls, and it's no wonder the two wrestling legends have yet to catch up with all their fans.
