Where Has Layla Been?
According to PWInsider.com, WWE Diva Layla, who has been off TV for over a month now, is apparently off the road dealing with an undisclosed medical issue.
Layla reportedly asked to be taken off the road to deal with the problem, and WWE granted her the time off to deal with the issue that the company is aware of.
There is no word on when Layla is expected to return to WWE.
College Football Star to Receive WWE Tryout
TimesFreePress.com is reporting that that University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football star Gunner Miller will be receiving a WWE tryout, setup by Gerald Brisco.
The article notes that Miller's tryout was scheduled for December, but due to a football injury he received the tryout has been pushed back until Miller is healthy. Miller was quoted as saying the following about the tryout opportunity:
"I've got to get cleared, send them my paperwork and then they'll bring me in around the beginning of June. I'll go down there for about three to five days and they'll see what I've got, and hopefully sign a contract down there."
