Thanksgiving Impact Rating
Last week's Thanksgiving holiday predictably took a hit on TNA's Impact Wrestling broadcast, and WWE Smackdown the night after. TNA brought in a final 0.7 rating for the show, which is down from both the 2012 and 2011 scores for a Thanksgiving episode. Impact saw 921,000 viewers tune in, well under their one million fan benchmark. The ratings should bounce back next week for the semi-final round matches of the ongoing World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Kurt Angle is set to take on Magnus in a Last Man Standing match, while Bobby Roode faces Jeff Hardy in a Tables Match.
Black Friday Smackdown Viewership
WWE Smackdown didn't do a whole lot better for their post-Thanksgiving episode, losing 465,000 fans to the Black Friday madness. Smackdown drew 2.641 million viewers, down from last week's 3.106 million. The good news is, however, that this year's show had 69,000 more viewers than the 2012 post-Thanksgiving broadcast. It's not a big increase, but at least they stayed consistent with the holiday trends of previous years. Impact Wrestling had no such luck.
