Kurt Angle Says TNA is Searching for Indian Talent
Business-Standard.com has a new article up looking at TNA Wrestling's business ventures in India, and TNA star Kurt Angle had the following to say regarding the company seeking Indian talent:
"We want to promote wrestling in India," Angle said. "I think we are going to become successful and the most effective way to promote in India is to see who the next talent from India is."
As we have been reporting over the past coulple weeks, TNA's TV partner in India, Sony Six, is seeking more TV content from TNA, and Multi Screen Media CEO Man Jit Singh had the following to say:
"There is a huge sports market in India, though it is still dominated by cricket, we see a huge future for wrestling." We have seen that recently wrestlers and boxers have been winning medals and TNA is a sport of wrestling and entertainment. We will look forward to giving 500 hours of programming each year on Sony Six." You can read more at Business-standard.com.
Hulk Hogan Addresses His TNA Status on Twitter
In response to several fans who have pointed out that he is being advertised for the upcoming TNA European tour, Hulk Hogan posted the following on Twitter:
I'm sorry if TNA is advertising me on the UK tour but I don't work there anymore and will NOT be on their UK tour HH
